“Everything happens for a reason”

This is a picture of my tattoo that I have on the side of me. Originally, I got the heart after I went through an abusive and very toxic relationship in 2016 to remind myself of self love. I decided to add on to it in 2018. It is the writing in my moms hand writing “everything happens for a reason”. These words mean so much to me because this saying has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. My mom is my number one supporter and best friend. Without her reminding me that “everything happens for a reason” every time a hardship comes, I don’t know if I would be here today.
