“Keep moving forward”

I choose my words because I simply love them. They came from the Disney movie ‘Meet the Robinsons’ and while it may seem like a silly thing to find a message from a children’s cartoon significant, I find this film really inspiring. The story line amounts to continuing to try despite a difficult start to life and repeated failures. The motto becomes keep moving forward, and this leads to amazing things for the main character. Despite many many trials and issues, he learns to celebrate and embrace the hard times and disappointments.

For me, my story could be considered similar, an orphan, always having to keep one foot in front of the other hoping to find success. I feel like they are really powerful words. In the end, our biggest enemy can be personal defeat, keep moving forward means don’t dwell on the past but look forward- the future is bright.
