“Kind, receptive, honest”

I chose three words that mean a lot to me. Kind, Receptive, and Honest. I chose these words because I think they are the foundation to being a better person in our society. I try to be kind every day. We all have our off days of course, but if you can say something kind to someone once a day (or more) you are making a positive change in the world. I chose receptive because I think it is vital to live life with an open mind and heart. My grandma used to say to me, “Once you hit a point where you aren’t learning anymore, you need to change something.” Lastly, I chose honest because being truthful in life saves a lot of trouble down the road. If everyone spoke their mind in a kind, respectful way, this world would be a better place.
