ONE SKY EVENT – BOISE

OCT 4, 2020

WORDS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD

Celebrating statements that inspire change for individuals, people and the world.

In an effort to bring international issues, community awareness and civic engagement together, we created the One Sky International Awareness Event.

The One Sky Event brings people together to inspire goodwill, promote positive social change and raise awareness of international issues. Our goal is to build stronger communities by using voice in productive ways for civic discussion and communal learning.

To honor words that have inspired positive change, we are excited to announce our first virtual event, Words That Changed the World, an online gallery of words premiering here on October 4, 2020 at 5pm MT.

This year’s event will provide an opportunity for people to feel heard, an opportunity to connect with others, and a moment to reflect on the power of words as a catalyst for personal and global change.

We are currently taking submissions to our online gallery. We want to know what words that changed the world—what words impacted you? inspired you? made a difference in your life? the way you see the world?

Share Your Words With Us

  1. Select the words (quote, phrase, or saying)
  2. Tell us why those words are meaningful to you
  3. Take a picture of the words (use your creativity)
  4. Email it to emily@oneskyevent.org by Sept. 30, 2020

Be creative. Be inspiring. Be respectful. Be vulnerable. Be brave *Please use your original work and avoid direct downloads from the web unless it is your own work.
